Our History
Finca MontePeregrino was born from the concern of a group of enthusiastic businessmen looking to create a new and unprecedented concept in the vicinity of the city of Guadalajara.
In 2012 the land was acquired and it was not until 2021 that we set out to develop a project that would respect the environment, for which experts in different fields such as biologists, oenologists and agricultural engineers were consulted and the result is a community of Vineyards that not only contributes to the beauty of the cultivation of the vine, but it could also be a detonator of sources of direct and indirect employment not only in the agricultural environment but also in the tourism sector, seeking to improve the living conditions of the people of the region.

The name "Finca MontePeregrino" conforms to the definition of "Rustic Estate" which means an extension of undeveloped land that generally includes mountains, fields or other geographical features with the right to cultivate the land and even consolidate the property in exchange for a amount and take care of it, followed by "Peregrino" meaning "Xopillin" name of the founder of Villa Corona represented in the center of his shield. It also alludes to the very own topography of the terroir. The Farm or "Finca" represents the real estate par excellence, the land.
